The Annual Employee Christmas Recognition Reception was held on December 6, 2007.  Ms. Hattie Mull, Environmental Service, was honored as the 2007 Employee of the Year for Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital.  She has been employed in EVS for 9+ years.

Charles Knisley received his 30 year service award with the SC Mental of Health.

Recipients of the Perfect Attendance Award for 2007 were Kay Hogston, David Reid, Becky Teixeira, Jeremy Pitts,  Wanda Craft, Melissa Sammons, Hattie Mull, Larry Young, JoAnne Melton, Bob Bowers, Mike Morgan, and Mary Sue Raaf. Congratulations employees and thank you for your dedication to HPH.

The Positive Aim/Wellness Committee would like to congratulate all participants in the “Walk to Myrtle Beach” program.  A total of 38 employees initially signed up and 30 actively participanted and turn in miles walked.  1,573 total actual miles were walked. With the promised 5 miles for every 1 mile walked 11 employees made the 274 mile walk to the beach!  It looks like a couple were found hanging out in a coffee shop outside Florence and one made a wrong turn and ended up heading towards Augusta!

A special CONGRATULATIONS to Carl Hagerman,  who actually walked 215.5 miles during the three month program.
