LEGAL PROCESSING
The purpose of the Legal Processing Department is to coordinate timely schedules between Probate Judges, attorneys, patients, and staff, within the guidelines provided by the South Carolina Laws Pertaining to Mental Health and the SCDMH Directives.
Effective and efficient processing of legal documentation is accomplished through communication, team work, and continuous quality improvement.
This department provides services to the Probate Courts throughout the State of South Carolina.
Vision
The Legal Processing Department's vision is to continue to provide excellent services to the Probate Courts of the counties we serve, to the patients entrusted to our care and to the staff of HPH. We look forward, with eagerness, to the opportunities that are ahead.
Values and Guiding Principles
We shall continue to follow the guidelines provided by the SC Laws Pertaining to Mental Health, the SCDMH Directives, and the policies of Harris Hospital.
We shall continue to support and strive to achieve, the missions of the SC Department of Mental Health, Harris Hospital, and the Division of Administrative Services.
